The banter between Shah Rukh Khan and Mani Ratnam, caught on video, has been keeping netizens amused. At a recent CNN-News18 event in Delhi, the star was asked whether he would like to pitch for a film to Mani Ratnam. And King Khan promptly replied, “I’m requesting you, I’m begging you and I’m telling you every time, to do a film with me.”
In a hilarious bid to sweeten the offer, he added, “I swear, this time, I'll dance on top of the plane for Chaiyya Chaiyya if you tell me.” He also reminded the ace director’s wife Suhasini, “I told you that time to tell him ‘Shah Rukh Shah Rukh’ before he sleeps.” And Mani, who was asked when he would next cast SRK in a film, replied, “When he buys a plane... I’ll do it.”
The Shah Rukh Khan clipping from the event has been going viral on social media. It may be recalled that SRK and Mani Ratnam worked together in the film Dil Se in 1998.
