Pics: Kanika Kapoor hangs out with Messi and Shakira, finds them 'warm and friendly'

Mumbai: Filmfare award-winning singer Kanika Kapoor was recently spotted dining with international singer Shakira and ace footballer Lionel Messi, according to a source.

The singer, who was relentlessly working on film projects last year, found a brief respite from her busy schedule. She took off to Thailand and later headed to Barcelona where she met the stars.

"I met Shakira at a common friend’s house in Barcelona. She was very warm and friendly. We chilled over dinner,” Kanika was quoted as saying.

She further added, "Apart from discussing our babies, we also talked about Indian music. I told her I sing for Bollywood films, and she said she loves the sitar."

It looks like Kanika had a great time with international celebrities. Professionally, the star has tasted major success in the year that's gone by.
