Mumbai: It’s been a very busy day for both movie buffs and our leading lady Deepika Padukone. As promised, Deepika has brought Vin to India today and we all cannot help but go gaga over him.
The superstar took to Instagram to express his joy over reaching the country he had always ‘dreamed’ about visiting.
Seen with Deepika, the actor captioned the picture: So honored to be here in India for the first time. The xXx Global tour has been great and now I and @deepikapadukone are going to share this film with her country today. As a child I always dreamed of visiting India... Thank you Paramount for making this dream come true. Xander.
The duo reached Mumbai this morning and Vin was welcomed with open arms, in a very Maharashtrian fashion. The actor was patient and constantly smiling as young girls drew ‘tika’ on his forehead and hung garland around his neck. Director of ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’, D. J Caruso has also come along with the actors.
Deepika, Caruso and Diesel are headed to Phoenix Mall in Kurla for an audience interactive session.
The film releases on January 14 in India, five days before its international release.
