Mumbai: Vikram Bhatt, who has a penchant for making scary movies, is back with another flick from his favourite genre. The makers of Zareen Khan and Karan Kundra starrer '1921' recently released the trailer of their upcoming film.
In this spooky trailer the leading lady Zareen can be seen getting frightened by the ghosts. The one thing that got our attention is filmmaker’s blatant plagiarism of the design for ghost, which looks too similar to 2013 Hollywood horror film 'Lights Out'.
The eerie looking dark entity in the trailer of Vikram Bhatt's '1921' is impressive, but definitely not original. Check out the image below:

The mysterious figure that appears in the trailer has a demonic presence which scares the lead characters in the film. The design of the ghost is quite similar to the one from Hollywood flick.

Ghost in 'Lights Out'.
Lights Out is a 2016 supernatural horror film directed by David F. Sandberg. The ghost in this film attacks people only in dark. The Teresa Palmer starrer movie received very good commercial and critical success upon release.

Although the content of these two movies look different, the glaring similarity and Bollywood's usual ‘inspiration’ from Hollywood is definitely embarrassing!
'1921' is the fourth film in the 1920 (film series) and it is set to release on 12 January 2018.
