Will Sidharth be able to recreate Rajesh Khanna's magic in Ittefaq reboot?

Mumbai: The trailer of the much awaited film of 2017, ‘Ittefaq,’ saw the dawn on the same release date of the earlier film, 1969’s ‘Ittefaq’ (Oct 04). This was one of the seventeen successful films of Rajesh Khanna in a row. Rajesh Khanna was known as the Matinee Idol as women, children and senior citizens and the youth as well, never liked to miss his film.

Well, the latest adaptation, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna, the trailer creates a similar spine chilling experience. But the million dollar question is yet to be answered- if Sidharth will be able to create the same experience as the one that was created by Rajesh Khanna.

Renu Chopra (B.R. Studios) seemed very thrilled to experience this day. “We are trying to rejuvenate the B.R. Studios indeed. Just lately we released a film, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ which received a huge, positive response, not only from the audiences but also the critics,” she exults.

Elaborating on ‘Ittefaq,’ she gushes enthusiastically, “What is more encouraging for me is that my son Abhay Chopra has directed this film Ittefaq which is a cult film. Late Yash Chopra had directed the film while the film was produced by B.R. Chopra. Both my sons Kapil Chopra and Abhay Chopra are working very hard to carry forward the legacy.”

Well trailer of the film will definitely bring in loads of excitement unto the hearts of the audiences. Probably, with the hair raising excitement which is created after watching the trailer, one thing of the past will be rejuvenated. Trailer is more than enough to excite and create awareness. It will surely ignite the excitement within the audiences to enter the theatres. With such a powerful trailer, too much of promotions which are prevalent in today’s times will not be needed.
