YRF to reward Indian gold medalists at Rio Olympics with Rs 10 lakh
Mumbai: Sultan just grossed 300 crores at the domestic box-office and YRF has every reason to celebrate the phenomenal success. YRF, often hailed as India’s premium production house, has come forward to reward Indian athletes at the Rio Olympics 2016.
YRF has announced that they’ll be rewarding every Indian gold medal winner with a rupees 10 lakh cash reward.
A prime example of reel extending patronage to real, they didn’t just make a film on an underdog athlete making the country proud, but also extended their support by honouring the real life Sultan’s and Arfa’s at Rio.
Even comparatively small steps as these, go a long way in encouraging such unsung heroes, especially at a time when celebrities are undermining the hard work and efforts put in by those sportspersons.
