Harshvardhan Kapoor moves out of his home
Harshvardhan Kapoor is barely one film old and already a method actor. His father, Anil Kapoor, never really went as far into his character as his son.
For his first film Mirzya, Harshvardhan studied the behaviour, mannerisms, clothes and speech of classical love stories, as he had to play a legendary lovelorn character’s junoon on his own. Now for his second film, Vikramaditya Motwane’s Bhavesh Joshi, Harshvardhan goes even further, right out of his family home.
Since he plays a loner in the film Harsha-vardhan has opted to move out of the family residence where he lived with his parents Anil and Sunita Kapoor and two sisters Sonam and Rhea. Says Harshvardhan, “Yes, I’ve moved out of my home since the last one month to isolate myself to prepare for my role in Bhavesh Joshi.”
Harshvardhan adds that playing the loner is a challenge even though the young actor is a bit of a loner himself. The role was first offered to Harshvardhan, before going to Imran. “But at that time I felt that I was too inexperienced to play the part. So it went to Imran Khan. Now, it has come back to me. And I feel blessed.”
