If not an actor, Ranbir Kapoor would have tried his hand at this profession

“When it comes to schooling, my family history is pretty bad. My father (Rishi Kapoor) failed in the eighth standard, and my uncle failed in the ninth, and my grandfather in the sixth standard! In fact, I am actually the most educated ‘padha likha insaan’ (well-educated) in my family. In my board exams, tenth standard, I secured 56.3 per cent. But my best of five subjects was sixty per cent,” admits Ranbir about his academics.

“If I was not an actor, I would have been struggling still because I would have kept trying. I would have tried to be a football player. I am 34 and my knees give way now. But I would rather coach a school football team,” says Ranbir, explaining his alternate career choice.

With only two upcoming movies, looks like Ranbir hasn’t signed on too many films. On the other hand, his ex-girlfriend, Katrina Kaif has her hands full, with films opposite all the three Khans, which will be out soon. Ranbir knows what his career options are if, God forbid, his next two films do not fare well at the box office!
