Jackie Shroff to be conferred with the title 'Sanskrit Kalashree'

Mumbai: Sanskriti Cultural Foundation, which is a music academy with a special focus on cultural arts, honours the personality who have done exemplary work in the field of ART & culture by conferring the title of Sanskriti Kalashree.

Earlier from the industry Hema Malini, Shabana Azmi, A R Rehmaan, Asha Parekh, Zeenat Aman, Udit Narayan and many more were conferred upon this title of Kalashree.

This year, undeniably, the blessed and the chosen one to be conferred upon the title of 'Sanskriti Kalashree' is our own 'Beedhoo' Jackie Shroff.

Confirming the news, Vinod Kothari, the Chairman of Sanskriti Cultural Foundation, said, "Yes! Jackie has consented his presence. He will be flying today to Chennai to attend the programme on the 11th July2017. We have been organising this programme for the last 16 years in Chennai. Last year, Shabana Azmi was honored before that Sharmila Tagore was honoured."
