Parmanu trailer: The first trailer for John Abraham film is out and it is impressive

After the series of controversies, the film has got a release date and it isn't very far away either.

Mumbai: The trailer of John Abraham strarrer 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' is finally released today. After the series of legal battles with former co-producer Kriarj Entertainment, the film has got a release date and it isn't very far away either.

The film is based on the 1998 Pokhran blasts which were conducted by the BJP-led NDA government.The trailer dives deep into the 1998 Pokhran blasts being spear-headed by six Indian army officers who posed as officials of the Archaeological Survey of India. If the trailer is anything to go by, the film looks gripping and seems to offer audiences an edge of the seat thriller.

Zee Studios distributes the film internationally while John Abraham’s JA Entertainment is credited as a producer for the film. Ajay Kapoor’s Kyta Productions is also credited for their contribution to the project. After many controversies, Prernaa Arora’s KriArj Entertainment is not a part of the project in any capacity.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit theatres on May 25.
