Salman Khan gets the load off his shoulders, wraps Sultan
Salman Khan and director Ali Abbas Zafar wrapped up their ‘Sultan’ shoot with a big bash. Months of shooting finally came to a close on Monday night, after the actor shot a few remaining scenes in fields of Ludhiana, Punjab.
Salman and his leading lady Anushka Sharma, were photographed riding a tractor on the sets. The two, who will be seen playing wrestlers in this film, trained hard toget into the skins of their characters. While Salman worked on his physique, Anushka trained hard for weeks to perfect her wrestling moves.
Salman, who had been juggling between several film sets for the past year, can now cool off his heels for a month before beginning film promotions. On the work front, Salman has signed his next film with Kabir Khan that is expected to go on floors in July this year.
At the wrap party, Salman enjoyed himself with the real life wrestlers Hind Kesari Palwinder Cheema and Hind Kesari Jagdish Kaliraman. Both wrestlers took turns to carry the superstar on their shoulders. Salman returned the favour and pretended to carry both wrestlers together.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Sultan’ also features Amit Sadh, reportedly as Salman's younger version, and Randeep Hooda as the actor's on-screen wrestling coach. The film will remain unchallenged at the box office, when it releases this Eid.
