Exclusive: I've never raised my hand at anyone, says Arjun Rampal on assault rumours

On Sunday morning, Arjun Rampal woke up to reports that he had assaulted a photographer in Delhi the previous evening. The actor however, denies it entirely. “This was bizarre because I didn’t recall any such incident. I started getting a barrage of calls and messages from friends asking what had happened. The answer is — nothing! Nothing happened,” said Arjun as he kept his cool.

“I’m not prone to violence. I’ve never raised my hands at anyone in real life. Even in my movies, I avoid overdoing violence. To raise my voice is an effort, to raise my hand is an ordeal,” says Arjun on a lighter note. According to the complaint filed against the actor, Arjun got infuriated after a photographer tried to click his photo. But Arjun only recalls being live on stage in Delhi on Saturday night. “It was a fun gig. We were all having a great time. I don’t know where the violence came into the musical.”
