Mumbai: Salman Khan, who felt privileged to unveil the golden girl, Asha Parekh’s book ‘The Hit Girl,’ affirmed that the veteran actresses of that era did not follow any noxious ways to ignite rivalry amongst their friend’s circle. They always stood by each other through thick and thin and remained the best of friends for eternity.

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ made a comment saying, “These are the qualities that today's girls should understand. It is the best quality that that generation had and we have lost that quality. ”

The megastar went on to add, “Asha aunty is very dear to us. Helen aunty my mother, Saira (Banu) aunty, Sadhana (Shivdasani) aunty and they all were so close. They all have been really close! It's something that you have never seen.”

Salman, who gleefully unveiled the book alongside veterans like Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Helen, Waheeda Rehman, Aruna Irani and Jackie Shroff, urged everyone to buy the book.

He pleaded, “You must buy the book and go by the book, because this generation has led the cleanest life possible, professionally and personally. So, it will be a book of values and principles that has its highs and lows, fun moments and a whole career graph. I think this is something you must read, because it will only elevate you as a person!"
