Mumbai: Marriages are meant to be occasions of shared happiness. Or, so Priyanka Chopra thought when she tweeted about Bipasha Basu’s wedding to the current love of her life Karan Singh Grover.
Little did Priyanka know she would upset the bride-to-be Bipasha Basu.
Says a source in the know, “Bipasha was very upset when Priyanka tweeted about the wedding.She wanted her wedding to be a private affair. When Priyanka tweeted about it , Bipasha had to issue a press release announcing her marriage.”
One can’t blame Priyanka for sharing the news. Says the source, “She is away in the US and had no idea that Bipasha wanted it kept a secret.”

Why would Bipasha want to keep something as happy as her marriage a secret!
Hours after Priyanka's tweet, Bipasha Basu confirmed the news by posting a picture of her with Karan on Instagram.
The post read:
"We are happy to finally share the good news with everyone. 30th April 2016 is the big day and we cannot thank our family, friends, fans and well wishers enough for all their love and support. The wedding will be a private, intimate affair. Our deepest gratitude for respecting our privacy this far. We hope to have your continued blessings and warm wishes as we embark on this new journey together."
Soon after the official confirmation, pictures of their wedding started doing the rounds on social media.
The invitation reads, "We invite you to our crazy, jumpy, happy wedding celebration." The wedding ceremony will be held on April 30 at Pallazio Banquet in Mumbai.
