Prayer meet for Sridevi in Chennai today; sister, Ayyappan family, others to attend

Not many south Indian cinefolk managed to attend the prayer meet and funeral of Sridevi in Mumbai last month. So Boney Kapoor and the Ayyappan family have decided to hold another prayer meet on Sunday in Chennai.

A source close to the family says, “Sridevi has a huge body of work down South and it was important to make sure that everyone who has worked with her or whose lives were touched by the actress should be a part of her final journey. Hence, a prayer meet has been scheduled at the Crowne Plaza in Chennai on Sunday evening.”

Apart from Boney and his daughters, Amar Singh, the Marwah family, sister Lata and her husband Sanjay Ramaswamy and the Ayyappan family are expected to be present.
