Documentary on Sridevi: Actress' Karma director Subhash Ghai extremely delighted

Recently, there were reports that producer Boney Kapoor was planning to make a documentary on his late wife and Bollywood legend, Sridevi. There was also buzz that the Shekhar Kapur will helm the project.

Subhash Ghai, who has worked with Sridevi in Karma, says that the documentary on the actress is a must. The filmmaker had recently mentioned, “Sridevi’s work must be mentioned in textbooks,” post her demise. And he is happier that it’s getting an audio-visual format.

“It should be made. The documentary on the institutional body of work of an actor, a director or a producer is a must because the newer generations can learn from that. It must be very educational for the younger generation and I am very happy that it’s being made,” says Subhash.
