Rajkummar braved serious injury to give authenticity to important scene in Trapped
Mumbai: National award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao was injured on the sets of his upcoming film, ‘Trapped,’ directed by Vikramaditya Motwane.
The versatile actor who is known for her unconventional choice of films and roles likes to the extra mile to do justice for his roles. While working on ‘Trapped’ had been a satisfying experience, it was physically exhausting as well to the extent that he got injured on the set.
“I had to pull something off with great effort in a scene. In the second take, I exerted more pressure than required and that resulted in a severe muscle pull,” informs Rajkummar.
However, the real-life incident seemed so visually appealing to Vikramaditya that he decided to retain it in the film. Despite being in pain, the actor continued shooting so that the scene would look authentic.
“I visited a doctor only later in the day of the accident. I took medicines and continued shooting. I survived on painkillers for two days,” he adds.
