Since her debut film ran into trouble, we have often seen Sara Ali Khan making the rounds of temples offering her respects. For someone who has been a regular at the Mukteshwar temple in Juhu, we have either spotted Sara alone or with her mother visiting the temple to pray for the success of her films.
Though Kedarnath has not opened to a thundering response, Sara’s work in the film has come in for a lot of praise. While at it, she has another film releasing in less than three weeks —Simmba. On Saturday night again, Sara was seen at the temple thanking the gods for showering blessings on her.
“Sara often comes here and distributes food packets to the poor sitting outside the temple. It was more than a routine visit this time, as Sara also wanted to thank the almighty for her debut,” says the source, adding, “Sara has been trolled by bigots often for visiting a temple, but she has not been bothered by all that. She has faith and follows her beliefs.”
Sara has often asked photographers not to picture her while doing charity, but the paparazzi do not seem to pay any heed to her requests.
