Amitabh Bachchan refused to be part of Salman Khan's Race 3, Here's why

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan recently revealed in the interview that he was offered Race 3 which stars Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. But the senior actor had to opt out to scheduling conflicts. A source close to the matter said, "Big B already has given his October and November dates for the football biopic Jhund. The Race 3 team also plan to begin shoot around the same time. The clash of dates meant that Bachchan had to choose one and since he had already given his dates to Jhund, he politely turned down Race 3."

Interestingly, rumours were doing rounds that Siddharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapoor rejected Race 3 too.

On the related news, Remo D’Souza is helming Race 3. Sources informed that the film will be shot across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Europe and Singapore. Salman Khan will be seen essaying grey character in the movie. Race 3 is expected to release on 2018 Eid.
