Watch: Ranbir loses it after Anushka slaps him on sets of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, who're extremely close friends, lost their cool during the making of their upcoming Karan Johar directorial, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.

The actors, who'd previously worked on Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet,' also starring Karan, were filming a scene that required Anushka to tightly slap Ranbir.

Anushka, known to be an organic actress, would slap the unsuspecting actor hard and multiple retakes ended with the actor absolutely losing his cool.

Though Anushka profusely apologised for having whacked hard, Ranbir can be heard reprimanding her, saying, "There's a limit to it".

Ranbir, then goes on to add, "It's not a joke," still visibly upset having been hit too hard. Anushka herself can be seen evidently getting annoyed asking him rhetorically if she did it on purpose. Ranbir, already quite irritated, tells her he'd asked her not to slap him hard. She then asks the 'Besharam' actor if he really was upset and Ranbir says he is. At which point the actress apologises again, putting an end to the extremely heated exchange of words.

Well, we can only hope, all the friction and love have truly enhanced their performances on-screen!
