Actor-producer Anil Kapoor, who has come out with some exciting films such as Veere Di Wedding and Fanney Khan in recent times, claims that money has never been a driving force in his life.
“Money is important for several reasons — for the company, for family, for friends, but by God’s grace it has never been an issue for me,” Anil says, adding, “I let go of money most of the time as it’s not my driving force. When you are well-settled, you can choose to do films like Fanney Khan and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga without any stress.”
Talking more about not playing it safe as an actor and a producer, he says, “I want to use my position to encourage and support good cinema.”
Giving us a bit of insight into his personal life, he says that every member of the Kapoor household has a unique personality. “Rhea, Sonam, Harsh, my wife Sunita, and I are all completely different from each other. Everyone has an individual point of view and unique tastes.
It’s a great, healthy atmosphere, but sometimes it can get tense because differences of opinion can lead to arguments. But by and large, we let each other be,” he reveals. The actor will soon be seen sharing screen space with daughter Sonam Kapoor in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.
