Throwback: Katrina's picture with deceased Libyan Cl Gaddafi goes viral
Mumbai: Katrina Kaif’s rise to Bollywood superstardom has been one of the most spectacular sights in the country’s cinematic history. Which is precisely why fans have whole-heartedly savoured whatever’s come their way from her not so widely documented modelling days.
When model Shamita Singha uploaded a throwback picture which had Katrina, fellow actress Neha Dhupia and Aditi Gowitrikar from a good fifteen years back, fans rejoiced.
However, what made the picture sensational is the presence of deceased Libyan ruler Colonel Muammad Gaddafi amongst the lot.
Apparently, the picture had been from a private fashion show that had been conducted in Libya.
Gaddafi, a man who had been long accused an autocratic dictator for his radically reformative socialism, had been assassinated by rebel militia after being pulled out of hiding. Gaddafi also had a reputation for having his way with women, having been accused of serious sexual abuse during his time.
While the Indian supermodels looked endearingly innocent, Gaddafi seems at peace and unaffected by the beauteous presence around him.
Katrina, who’s come a long way to be one of the biggest actors in the country today, with films alongside the three Khans lined up.
She will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s much delayed Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’.
