Varun Sharma’s movies hasn’t done much at the box office. With series of flops like Warning, Dolly Ki Doli, Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karun and most recently Dilwale, the actor is seeking a single hit.
Though his films didn’t do well, Varun was appreciated for his comic timings. Latest we hear is that Varun is making his debut on small screen and will be seen in a travel show as a contestant.
A source close to the actor said, “On the show, Varun will be seen driving a truck till the highest peak of India. The actor has started prepping for the show.”
When contacted Varun, he confirmed the news and says, “I am doing a travel show where I am going to drive a truck via Manali till Siachen. I am carrying all my utilities and will give army weapons on my way. It is one of its own kinds of experience and I am very excited. Since I will start shooting for Fukrey 2 from October, I had ample time to do a TV show. It will be quite challenging for me.”
Did Dilwale’s poor box office performance made him choose the TV show? “Dilwale helped me land Raabta. I don’t see any truth to this.”
