Despite 100-crore blockbuster in Raazi, Alia Bhatt won't hike her fee, here's why
While rumours are abuzz that the Raazi actress will increase her remuneration, sources close to her reveal that Alia has no money sense.
It’s a given that any actor or actress would hike his/her remuneration after the success of their last film. It’s also true that none about it in public. So rumours of Alia Bhatt hiking her price is understandable.
But a very close friend of the actress described the money-talk surrounding Alia’s career as mere conjecture. “Alia has just delivered a Rs 100 crore blockbuster. Understandably everyone thinks she will now hike her fee. But there has been no such talk. The poor girl has no money sense. She doesn’t even know how much she gets per film. It’s handled by her mother and manager.
“Raazi is not Alia’s first success. She has delivered a string of successful movie. And if she hiked her price after every hit she would be on par with Salman Khan,” says the source.
Also, let’s not forget that in Bollywood a heroine who asks for what producers consider an unreasonable amount of money soon gets out-priced from the market.
