After going through, mulling over and writing about various subjects, Kiran Rao has finally narrowed down on the topic her next film will be dealing with. Her last film Dhobi Ghat released five years ago.
Kiran is known to be someone who tries to change audience perspective towards movies and she hasn’t shied away from backing films that she believes in, like she did with Ship of Thesus.
The topic for her next film too promises to follow the same path, and already has her team excited. She even has husband Aamir Khan’s nod of approval and his banner will be co-producing the project along with UTV.

Advait’s film is currently being shot on location in Gujarat and Kiran has been travelling extensively to the locations. Aamir, of course, is busy with Dangal, so Kiran is doing all she can to help Advait.
And in the spare time she has had, she finalised the script for her own venture. A source close to the development reveals, “The content of the script is very different and work on it will begin once Advait’s film is over. It’s one film at a time. After Aamir wraps work on Dangal, he’ll have enough time in hand to focus on Kiran’s next.”...
