Hrithik Roshan had nothing to do with the release date, says Madhu Mantena
Hritik Roshan’s Super 30 and Kangana’s Mental Hai Kya clash at the box office has been making headlines. Both the films will be releasing on July 26. Kangana’s sister Rangoli bombarded Hrithik with verbal attack and accused him of orchestrating a PR campaign against Kangana’s film.
However, the Super 30 producer, Madhu Mantena, is quick to jump to Hrithik’s defense saying, “He has nothing to do with the release date of Super 30. Throughout the making of our film, Hrithik has been a thorough professional, never interfering in any of the trade-related decisions. Nor did Hrithik interfere in the direction or any other aspect of the film.”
Applauding the way the actor has played mathematician Anand Kumar, Madhu says, “Hrithik hasn’t just played Anand Kumar. He has lived every moment of Anandji’s life. According to me, this is one of the most authentic portrayals of a real-life hero. Audiences will see only Anand Kumar on screen. Hrithik has disappeared into his character.”
As for the competition, Madhu says, “Our film (Super 30) is completely different than the other release. We wish them all the best.”
