From the time filmmaker Rajamouli announced his ambitious multistarrer project RRR, the film besides change in the star cast, has not seen the light of the day.
On a positive note, the delay in the shoot seems to have been a blessing in disguise for actress Alia Bhatt as well as her fans as Alia’s date at that point in time were not working out.
“Alia met Rajamouli at the airport one day and told him that she would surely accommodate her dates for his film and would do any role in the movie. But then the delay in the shoot due to injuries to Ram Charan and Jr NTR, the schedule moved around a bit. That has helped everyone in some way. Of course, actress Daisy Edgar Jones needed to be replaced, but it has given Alia the time to work on her Telugu,” says a trade source.
But that’s not all. It has gotten Rajamouli to also try and make his film reach out to a wider audience.
“Rajamouli is now also touching up a few lines for Alia to make her role in the film worthwhile. He wants to make sure that he uses his Bollywood star well enough to be able to do justice to her stardom and also widen the reach of his film. He also has Ajay Devgn in a cameo in the film,” says a source.
