I am happy the way my journey has shaped up, says Mugdha Godse

Having a debut with Director Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion', she has been surviving in the industry with films at times.

Mumbai: Mugdha Godse’s journey in the glam World started with becoming the semi finalised - Femina Miss India 2004. Having a debut with Director Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’, she has been surviving in the industry with films at times. We caught her up while shooting for 'Sharmaji Ki Lag Gayi' where she is pitied opposite Krushna Abhishek. Mugdha looked pretty while shooting for a song sequence.

Mugdha very frankly says, "Yes, my journey has been fantastic. Sometimes I have tasted ups and downs. But it’s all in the game. I have no complaints…I am happy the way my journey has shaped up. I have a couple of films in my hand…I have also produced a short film. So life is going on. I feel sustaining in this glamorous and competitive industry is more important. I have been successfully done that.”

Adding about her producing experiences she quips, "I have produced a short film of just 15/20 minutes. We did not invest much this is not an expensive film. But the process of producing this short film was fascinating and interesting enough. I have enjoyed it a lot. May be in the long run we may produce more films as well.”

About her relationship with Rahul she says, "Aap logon ko toh pata hi hai!! (You guys already know about our relationship) This is the best phase of my life on personal front.”

Expressing the similarities in both she adds, "I and Rahul have the same wave length. We both think alike .Belonging to the middle class family though he hails from Delhi while I am a Pune girl, our upbringing has been the same. We enjoy being in each other’s company …sab achcha hi chal raha hai (Everything is going on smoothly.)

Excited about sharing life with Rahul, Mugdha says, "Rahul is a positive person. He is a genius. And a simple man. He does not have too many demands. Bt when it comes to being demanding it’s indeed me…who likes to order for my favourite stuff like different kinds of coffee .While Rahul simply loves his black coffee. I am really lucky to have ground Rahul as my companion. He fully understands me and also gives me space.”

Mugdha compares her life from being the semi finalised Femina Miss India 2004..Changes noted after turning to spirituality. She tells, "I remember while participating for Ms India I just answered a few questions related to life and society. Then I did not understand its meaning of life in true sense. However, today my life experiences have changed me a lot. I have turned spiritual and this has made me understand that life has to go on. We need not sit and complain rather find our ways of moving ahead in life and finding solace in life by being positive always. I and Rahul are into meditation and also chant wonderful mantras.”

Adding about spirituality she says, "Spirituality has taught me how to attain solace and always enjoying in whatever situations I may be. Thus being in relationship I always get attracted to certain energies…usually people like to speak…but listening is also an art so I always lend my ears to people who wish to part with their problems and fins joy by doing so.”

Laughingly she adds, "Needless to state that I do all the talking and Rahul listens to me….But at times Rahul too has his talking time.”

Lastly Mugdha is also a mother figure to Rahul’s son, "Yes I do understand him. He is 19 years old boy studying in London. He understands the World better even at this age. He is also a spiritual person like his father. Undeniably, he has a wise father who guides him always. Waise bhi aajkal bachche kiski sunte hai? (Today’s generation do not listen to their elder) We are in touch with him so that he should not feel the absence of a mother in his life. I try to comfort him whenever we are together.” She concludes.
