Mumbai: Yes, you've read it right. It was just a few days back, DC told you that Kangana Ranaut had opted out the film 'Divine Lovers' opposite Irrfan Khan. Now, the latest news is that the actress has been replaced by Zareen Khan.
According to reports, Zareen will undergo two months of training which will be overseen by Irrfan himself. The film which will be directed by Sai Kabir will go on floors in September.
Kangana, who had worked with Sai Kabir on 'Revolver Rani' had decided to collaborate on another project with him. However, the film didn't go on floors for the next two years and Kangana went on to score big hits with 'Queen' and 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'.
In an interview to DC, Sai Kabir had said, “Kangana Ranaut is no more a part of my film Divine Lovers. I am launching a new girl opposite the leading man Irrfan Khan. It’s going to be a surprise for everyone. The new girl is more suitable for the role. I can’t say anything else.”
