The Ki & Ka actress is nowhere to be seen these days. What's the mystery?

Where’s Kareena Kapoor these days? Post Ki & Ka, all that we see in after-release events is a lonesome Arjun Kapoor. So where is his better half from the film?
So tired is Arjun of this question that at a recent event when asked where Kareena was, he blew his top and snapped (with a pacifying grin, of course), “I don’t move around with Kareena in my pocket. You’ll have to ask Nawab Saab (Saif) where she is.” Turns out that she has lost her voice.
According to Ki & Ka director Balki, Kareena gave so many interviews that her vocal chords have temporarily broken down. “But she’ll be back soon,” promises Balki.
