This was a very emotional post for veteran superstar Amitabh Bachchan. He recently shared the picture of a vintage yellow coloured Ford Prefect with a cryptic message on Monday. “There are times when you are speechless… I am now… been trying to express, but nothing comes out… a story of times gone by… a gesture beyond time.”
There is, of course, history behind this image. Several years back, the star’s the late mother Teji Bachchan used to drive a Ford Prefect. The story goes that Amitabh’s father was reluctant to drive a car after he was injured in an accident that had scarred him for life.
In a happy turn of events, it appears like Bachchan has gotten his old car back. Interestingly this car has the number plate ‘2882’ with a UP registration as the one that has been gifted to his granddaughter Aaradhya.
