Mumbai: There was a buzz that the late iconic star Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor would be making a special cameo appearance in her dad’s debut K’town production venture- the Tamil remake of Pink, with Ajith and Vidya Balan playing crucial roles. But that was rubbished as just rumour.
Once again reports have started making the rounds that Janhvi would be replacing Megha Chowdhury in the new Tamil version of Varmaa, the remake of Tollywood blockbuster Arjun Reddy. The makers, E4 Entertainment, recently decided sensationally to reshoot the entire film after scrapping director Bala’s version.
They will be doing so with a new set of actors and crew and retaining only Dhruv Vikram in the lead. If all goes well, then Janhvi will be making her Tamil debut with this movie, it is learnt.
