The ever-exuberant Ranveer Singh was rather upset after the trailer launch of Simmba. While the media present there did seem to like him in the trailer, did he feel dwarfed in comparison to Ajay Devgn who has lent his voice in the trailer, which also ends with a shot of him?
Ranveer Singh essays the eponymous character of Sangram Bhalerao a.k.a Simmba in the film and Ajay will reprise his role as Singham from the series that director Rohit Shetty has directed before.
Ranveer was shown as a little kid from Singham who goes on to be a cop in Simmba.

“Ranveer Singh was so angry after he received a certain call that the normally happy-go-lucky guy’s mood completely changed. It was rather evident that his mood had changed after he received the call. The trailer had gone online at that time. So one is not sure whether the call pertained to the reaction of someone important who did not have too many good things to say about Ranveer’s presence in the trailer,” says an eyewitness at the event.
