Aamir Khan not a perfectionist
While the world may believe that Aamir Khan is a perfectionist the Dangal actor reveals that he is hardly what he is made out to be. “In my real life, my day is far from perfect. It is extremely chaotic. I get lost in my head when I am sitting in a meeting. If I am supposed to be sitting in a meeting for one hour, it usually goes on for two hours. Then I remember that there is something else I have to do. So, my day then goes on to become longer than what it is supposed to be,” confesses Aamir adding that he does not identify with words like perfect, superstar or maverick. “I don’t see myself as any of these. I see myself as someone who is trying to learn whether it is through my films, Satyamev Jayate or Paani Foundation, every day is a learning experience for me. I am a learner and a student of whatever I do,” admits Aamir.
The actor is now working on his next project Thugs of Hindostan where he will be collaborating with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. “I have been a huge fan of Mr Bachchan for a long time. When I got to know I am working with him, it was very exciting. And finally, I was right in front of him. It was the first day of the rehearsals of the film when we were sitting and reading the scenes together. It was seriously a fanboy moment for me. I could not speak properly or remember my lines. It has been a real joy for me,” smiles Aamir.
