Salman Khan will be shooting for his film Tiger Zinda Hai in the United Arab Emirates. And as the Ganesh festival falls towards the end of the month, his family wants him to come back for a few hours, immerse the Elephant God, and fly back to his shooting venue.
Recently, Salman told us, "Our family has always believed in the power of Ganeshji and have been celebrating the festival for a long time. My mother (Salma Khan) is half Maharashtrian, half Rajput Dogra, and the Ganesh festival is one event when our entire family assembles to celebrate it in a big way. We always have Ganapati at our home for three days."
The makers of Tiger Zinda Hai — producers Yash Raj Films and director Ali Abbas Zafar — are pretty thick with Salman. We see no reason why he won’t be allowed to participate in one of the most important events of his life every year.
