Before Instagram bonding, Karan attended Kajol's b'day bash, teared up' post chat?
Mumbai: Fans had tweeted the 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' line , ‘But she’s your best friend yaar’ to remind Karan Johar that he had not wished Kajol on her birthday on August 5.
Little did they know that Karan not just wished his once favourite actress on that special day, but also attended her birthday bash, hugged her, chatted for a long time and ‘teared up.’
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the friends-turned-foes have officially buried the hatchet and ‘hugged and made up’ at the ‘VIP 2’ actress’ 43rd birthday bash.
“She's never been big on parties. It was an informal lunch. Karan sportingly turned up. They hugged, chatted for a couple of hours and Karan teared up. When he left the ice had melted. They did not touch on the issues that had created the rift,“ a source told the tabloid.
And what happened two days later is there for everybody to see, like the saying goes, ‘rest is history.’
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on Monday, Karan shared the first picture of his adorable twins, Yash and Roohi, Kajol liked it and he followed her back on Instagram.
All this talk about Karan’s confessing that he’d fallen out with Kajol in his book, the actress avoiding questions about him at events and interviews, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ versus ‘Shivaay’ clash, Ajay Devgn versus Kamaal R Khan, seems frivolous now.
Just like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan did, Kajol and Karan Johar prove that feuds in Bollywood have an expiry date.
