Salman Khan’s latest media gaffe has not come at the expense of himself for a change, but for his brother Sohail. During the launch of the trailer for the Sohail-produced Freaky Ali, his Bhai inadvertently let slip a plot detail that was meant to be a surprise. While explaining that he wouldn’t have minded even a small role in the film — since their other brother Arbaaz, too, has a role in it — Salman said, “Jackie (Shroff) plays a don in the film and so I requested Sohail to at least give me the Henchman’s character, who will be seen standing next to Jackie. But Sohail didn’t even give me that.”
At that, Sohail interrupted him, saying, “You just let out a secret of the film which was supposed to happen in the later stages of the film’s promotions. Revealing Jackie as the Don was not the part of today’s schedule.” However, he didn’t seem too miffed with the premature announcement. Salman then laughed off his flub and said, “Arre bhai, main yehi sooch rha tha ki Jackie kyun nahi aaya aaj ke promotions ke liye (I was wondering why Jackie didn’t turn up for the promotion of the film today).”
