Watch: Salman is a heartbroken mess in Tinka Tinka Dil Mera from Tubelight

Mumbai: Salman Khan films are more an event than a release and this is a known fact. However, Kabir Khan's 'Tubelight' has to be his most different film in recent times, unlike any of his previous releases.

The superstar, who plays a man-child in the film, has put his heart and soul into his performance, something which is extremely evident in the latest song, 'Tinka Tinka Dil Mera'.

The Pritam composition, crooned by the evocative Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, is a melancholic number, that works on Salman's love for his reel brother, played by real life sibling Sohail Khan, and his distress over the character leaving him behind to go fight the Sino-Indian war for the country.

Salman is a heartbreaking mess, bringing out the grief of the innocuous character with much aplomb.

Late veteran actor Om Puri and Isha Talwar also make brief appearances in the song, that is an out-and-out Salman Khan show.

'Tubelight,' also starring Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and Shah Rukh Khan in a crucial cameo, is Salman's Eid film this year, slated for a June 25 release.
