Priyanka's production house to enter Bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next?

Mumbai: After debuting as a producer with the Marathi tearjerker ‘Ventilator’, and succeeding, megastar Priyanka Chopra is reportedly gearing up to enter the Hindi film industry with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biopic on poet Amrita Pritam.

According to reports, the actress has let SLB know that she would like to co-produce his upcoming film on legendary poet Amrita Pritam. She is also rumoured to be playing the lead character in it.

Contrary to reports, Shah Rukh Khan is not essaying the role of Pritam’s love interest and fellow poet Sahir Ludhianvi in the flick. In fact, the makers are considering Irrfan Khan, Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan for the part but no announcement has been made yet.

Priyanka’s big Hollywood debut ‘Baywatch’ may have tanked at the Box Office but PeeCee has already signed two other films- ‘A Kid Like Jake’ alongside Jim Parsons and Claire Danes and New Line Cinema’s upcoming comedy titled ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ with Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine and Liam Hemsworth. Also, there is the (trimmed) third season of ‘Quantico’.
