Himesh Reshammiya ended his marriage of 22-years with Komal, when he filed for divorce last year. “Sometimes in life, mutual respect becomes most important. Komal and I have amicably decided to legally part ways as husband and wife. Our families respect our decision. Komal is and will always remain a part of our family, just as I will always be a part of hers,” Himesh said.
Komal added, “Himesh and I have mutually decided on this. Our marriage had compatibility issues, but our mutual respect for each other remains.”
There were alleged reports about Himesh’s closeness to TV actress Sonia Kapoor causing the rift.
On this, Komal said, “Nobody should be dragged into this matter, as no one is responsible for this fallout. Sonia is just like a family member and our son, Swayam, loves her.”
