BMC to take action against Saif Ali Khan over illegal parking of vanity van

The actor has been duly informed that he's bound to be penalised for the offence.

Mumbai: The BMC has revealed that it is planning to take action against actor Saif Ali Khan over illegally parking his vanity van and installing tents sans permission.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has asked Khan to move his van currently situated in a ground next to St. Xavier’s campus.

Though he had taken permission to shoot in the said premises from the Mumbai police, he hadn’t approached the BMC, under whose jurisdiction the property comes, according to a report by India Today.

Despite the BMC asking the unit to clear the spot, shooting had been held. Officials later removed the van and cleared the property of the tents.

The actor has been duly informed that he’s bound to be penalised for the offence.

Saif, who was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon,’ will next be seen in ‘Chef’.
