Harshvardhan Kapoor is probably one of Bollywood’s best-kept secrets right now. The son of actor Anil Kapoor has been off limits for the paparazzi and we hear that the only time he will make a public appearance is around the time of his debut release, Mirziya, in the latter half of 2016.
His father and director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra are both of the opinion that the actor should stay away from media glare until the “time is right”.
Says a source, “He is so scared of being spotted in public that he avoids hanging out with friends. Only last week, he had a run-in with some television crew for photographing him. His friends, however, maintain that Harshvardhan politely asked the cameramen to delete any footage of him that they had complied.”
Papa Anil says that he has his reasons for putting his son through the grill. “I never got a proper launch. I wasn’t introduced properly to the media either. Harsh is a shy, reserved boy and a very intense actor. Let him be presented properly,” he urges.
