Sonam Kapoor unveils behen' Swara Bhaskar's Nil Battey Sannata poster
Sonam Kapoor was given the honours of unveiling the first poster of her good friend Swara Bhaskar’s film ‘Nil Battey Sannata’. The two stars unveiled the poster via a video chat that was released online on Tuesday evening.
‘Nil Battey Sannata’ marks the debut of ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ director Nitesh Tiwari’s wife Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and is said to be about the relationship between a mother and her daughter.
Swara, who plays the leading role in the film, had received best actress award at a recent film festival for her performance in the movie. Swara, who plays the role of a mother, can be seen jumping and laughing with her teenage daughter in the poster.

The ‘Neerja’ star and Swara have worked together in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Raanjhanaa’ and in the 2015 Diwali blockbuster starring Salman Khan ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Sonam also said that she was confident the film would do well because of the efforts that went into making the film.
Produced by Aanand and Ajay Rai, ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ will also be released simultaneously in Tamil. The movie is slated to release on April 22.
