Richa Chadha and Pulkit Samrat to clash with themselves at the Box office

Mumbai: Richa Chadha and Pulkit Samrat, whose last release ‘Fukrey Returns’ last year created a buzz at the box office, have come across the same path as two of their films are scheduled to release on the same day.

‘DaasDev’ and ‘3 Storeys’ are slated to release on 9 March. ‘DaasDev’ by Sudhir Mishra is a modern flip on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's 'Devdas' and is a love saga based amidst the background of political upheaval. Unlike the plot of ‘Devdas’, this film has strong built characters. Apart from Richa the film stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Rahul Bhatt in the lead.

Speaking on this Richa said, "I am nervous and excited. An actor does not usually have two films releasing on the same day. I hope I can do justice to the two projects. I don't want the audience to get sick of me."

Pulkit Samrat too has ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’ releasing on March 9 along with ‘3 Storeys’. It would hence be interesting to see how the actors promote both their movies.

‘3 Storeys’ is an Excel entertainment movie which is a bouquet of 3 parallel stories set in a residential colony in Mumbai and has Renuka Shahane, Pulkit Samrat and Sharman Joshi in other roles.
