Mumbai: Farhan Akhtar has stopped signing new films. No, it isn't owing to his string of flops. It's because the actor-director has finally decided to pay heed to the ridiculously loyal fanbase that his most popular work commands, and concentrate on the highly anticipated 'Don 3'.
The Shah Rukh Khan starrer has been in the pipeline for the longest time and speculation have also been rife about the cast and release date of the film. With rumours about Deepika Padukone replacing Priyanka gaining momentum, a credible source has informed us that Farhan has indefinitely put his acting career on the backburner and channelised all his energies onto the project.
Earlier, Farhan had aldso been quoted as saying, “Yes, I do have an idea for ‘Don 3’. But it’s just an idea at the moment. We need to develop it. I’ve been very taken up with my acting assignments in the past few years. Now after Lucknow Central I am committed to acting assignments with Nishikant Kamat and Mohit Suri.”
Farhan was last seen in 'Lucknow Central' and Shah Rukh last worked with Imtiaz Ali in 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'....
