Ali Fazal's stunt for next film Mirzapur goes wrong, actor fractures his ankle

Recently, there were pictures of Ali Fazal gym bulking up for his next project, Mirzapur. Ali, who will be seen playing a gangster for the first time, refused to make use of a body double. Since he was keen on performing the stunts himself, Ali was training under an expert to perform freestyle action flips.

But while performing one of the action sequences Ali injured himself. A source said, “He was supposed to jump from a high altitude. But instead of falling on the safety mat he landed on bare ground fracturing his ankle in the act.” But being a thorough professional, Ali completed his shot.
