Hrithik Roshan breaks silence on allegations against his Super 30 director Vikas Bahl

The actor, whose opinion has been sought out since his upcoming film is directed by the filmmaker, took to Twitter to react.

Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan has finally reacted on allegations against Vikas Bahl, the director of his next film ‘Super 30’ and he did so without naming him, but calling for all ‘proven offenders’ to be punished.

He said it was ‘impossible’ for him to collaborate with any person accused of ‘such grave misconduct’ and also claimed he ‘was away’ and had ‘only sporadic information’ about the allegations.

Demanding that the matter not be ‘hushed or brushed under the carpet’, he revealed he had asked the producers of his film to take 'stock of the apparent facts’ and ‘a harsh stand if need be’.

He concluded by saying that the victims be empowered to raise their voice against harassment.

Vikas allegedly sexually harassed an ex-employee of his company Phantom Films at a party in Goa in 2015. Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, his partners from the company, have corroborated the incident and slammed him by calling him ‘sexual offender’ and much more.

The company was dissolved, without mentioning any reason, a day before a news portal broke the story of Vikas’ misconduct few days ago.

After the news broke out, Kangana Ranaut, who worked with Vikas Bahl in National Award-winning 'Queen', also spoke about being uncomfortable about his behaviour, revealing how he would 'hug her tightly', 'bury his face into her neck’, 'breathe in the smell of her hair' and saying how he loved the ‘way she would smell’ and that she had to muster up great deal of strength to pull out of his embrace.
