Here's why Katrina was uncomfortable with the song Kaala Chashma

Mumbai: Katrina Kaif and Sidharth have been furiously promoting their upcoming venture 'Baar Baar Dekho,' with a vengeance.

The film, being helmed by debutante director Nitya Mehra, is headed for a clash with Salman Khan's Sohail Khan directed production 'Freaky Ali,' starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amy Jackson.

The music of 'Baar Baar Dekho' has already been a success, especially the chartbuster 'Kaala Chashma'.

However, in an interview with Film Companion, when prodded on a particularly meta-referential portion of the song's lyrics, Katrina didn't shy away and opened up on it, candidly.

A line from the lyric that goes, "Tu Munda Bilkul Desi Hai
Main Katrina Toh Soni Ve," apparently was the source of some major discomfiture to the actress.

Kat confessed that she'd overlooked the lyrics as she habitually would keep rehearsing the song without lip-syncing. But when she finally did notice the reference to her name, she was fraught and she requested for the portion to be tweaked making her discomfort known.

But apparently they had a dearth of time to rectify it and it wasn't possible to call up Baadshah and get it changed at that a short notice. So they just dropped it and went ahead with the existing version.

Katrina though, cheekily did confess that it defies all logic and still does make her uncomfortable.

Doesn't take anything away from her sizzling moves in the song, we say!
