Jacqueline Fernandez has been having a dream run lately with Dishoom performing well at the box office. Her next flick, the superhero-themed A Flying Jatt is inching towards release. However, if sources are to be believed, then the actress might have just dealt a snub to her film’s producer, Ekta Kapoor. The film’s director, Remo D’Souza and leading man, Tiger Shroff have been busy promoting the film. Jackie was supposed to join them for the launch of the song Beat Pe Booty but she did not show up. It seems she told the director that she was unwell, but only a few hours later she was seen at an endorsement event. The incident has not gone down well with Ekta.
Says a source close to the project, “While Remo and Tiger have taken their leading lady’s absence at the crucial song launch in their stride, Ekta Kapoor is not one to tolerate such a snub.”
Director Remo D’Souza bravely defended his leading lady’s absence and said, “She was there at the two other cities where the song was released, but got delayed in reaching the venue in Mumbai. She was to arrive by a chartered flight which got delayed because of the weather. And the press was waiting so she didn’t want to make them wait more.”
