Watch: B'town croons Hanuman Chalisa for Hanuman Da' Damdaar; gives modern twist
Mumbai: Ruchi Narain's ‘Hanuman Da Damdaar’, which hit theatres on June 2, has released contemporary Hanuman Chalisa for kids.
However, Bollywood celebrities crooning the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’song is the cherry on the cake.
The Chalisa features Boman Irani, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bhumi Pednekar, Kunal Kemmu, Ali Fazal, Sarika, Daisy Shah, Vivaan Shah, Varun Sharma, Kashmira Irani and Taher Shabbir.
They’ve given a modern twist to the devotional hymn.
The actors are only heard crooning for the chorus of the song, else wise it’s just lip-syncing.
Written and directed by Ruchi Narain, ‘Hanuman Da Damdaar’ with an ensemble cast featuring voice-overs by Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Kunal Kemmu, Chunky Pandey, VinayPathak, SaurabhShukla, Makrand Deshpande and Javed Akhtar is been produced by R.A.T. Films, presented by RNB film in association with R.A.T films.
